Italian Tomato Sauce Crudo

1 can Italian whole peeled tomatoes (not crushed, Mutti San Marzano are very good for this recipe)

1 clove garlic, crushed

1 tsp red wine vinegar

Good pinch of kosher salt

1 tbs extra virgin olive oil

Open can of tomatoes and place in a strainer over a bowl for 10 minutes to drain the watery liquid.

Remove the tomatoes from the strainer and place in a bowl and crush in your hands to the desired consistency.

Add garlic, vinegar and oil to the tomatoes and stir to combine.

Try this with pasta, as a pizza topping or on panini and sandwiches.
