Simple Spaghetti

This is easy and is kid friendly. It is

375g spaghetti

50 unsalted butter

1 tsp Marmite

freshly grated parmesan cheese (to serve)

Cook the spaghetti according to the packet instructions (pasta must be cooked in water as salty as the sea, add plenty of salt to the water).

When the pasta is almost cooked, melt the butter in a small saucepan and add the Marmite and 1 tbs of the pasta water, mixing thoroughly to dissolve.

Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water; then drain the pasta and return the pasta to the saucepan.

Pour the Marmite mixture over the drained spaghetti, add pasta water to amalgamate.

Serve with lots of parmesan.
