Gnocchi with Pea Pesto and Walnuts

Buy or find
Frozen peas, 150g, blanched and cooled
Chives, 50g, chopped
Parmesan, 60g, finely grated
Pecorino cheese, 30g, finely grated
Pine nuts, 30g, toasted
Lemon juice, 1/4 cup (60ml)
Olive oil, 1 1/2 tbs
Garlic, 1 clove
Walnuts, 80g, toasted and chopped

Do
For the pesto, place 50g peas and all the remaining ingredients except the walnuts in a food processor and process until smooth. Don’t overpress otherwise the pesto will go brown.
Boil gnocchi, home made or store bought. Make sure if home made that you add a decent amount of nutmeg without overdoing it.

Serve
Pest, gnocchi, remaining peas in a bowl and sprinkle over walnuts.
