2 Ingredient Gelato

250g sweetened condensed milk

500g pouring cream.

Chill the mixing bowl that you will use to whip the cream.

Once the bowl is chilled, whip the cream until moderately stiff peaks form.

Gently mix the sweetened condensed milk with the cream and stir well to combine.

Transfer the mixture to a container that will fit in your freezer.

Freeze for 3 hours undisturbed.

Freeze for an additional 2 hours, stirring every 2 hours.

Freeze overnight for the best results.

Try this with crushed flake or twirl bars or crushed Belgian chocolate mixed in during the freezing process for stracciatella.

Try this with 1 tbs cocoa powder mixed thoroughly with the sweetened condensed milk for chocolate gelato. You may prefer more or less cocoa.
