Bread Maker Recipes

(these require the use of a Panasonic SD-2501 bread maker)

white loaf

1 1/2 tsp dry yeast

620g bread flour

2 tsp salt

1 3/4 tbsp powdered milk

25g butter, melted

1 1/2 tbsp sugar

420ml water

add the ingredients to the bread machine in the order listed above. use setting 1 to make and bake a loaf of white bread.

basic dough (good for breadrolls)

2 tsp dry yeast

475g bread flour

2 tsp salt

3 tbsp powdered milk

45g butter, melted

1 3/4 tbsp sugar

300ml water

add the ingredients to the bread machine in the order listed above. use setting 16 to mix and knead the dough. Use setting 22 for a faster result.

shape the dough into balls.

place the balls onto a greased baking tray and allow to prove until doubled in size (about 45 minutes)

brush with beaten egg

bake in preheated oven at 180-200 degrees celsius for 10-20 minutes or until golden brown.

try this with bacon and cheese and oregano for a home made italian roll.
