Fried Rice

3 cups cooked jasmine rice

1/2 an onion, peeled and sliced into half moons

1 clove garlic, crushed

5 eggs, whisked and fried in oil like an omelete, and rolled then thinly sliced

1/2 -1 cup wombok or green cabbage, washed and thinly shredded

1/2 - 1 cup frozen baby peas

soy sauce, to taste

2 tbs grapeseed oil

Fry onion in oil in a large frying pan on high heat until browned and soft.

Add rice to the frying pan and fry for 5 minutes on high heat.

Add cabbage and fry until the cabbage collapses, about 4 minutes.

Add peas and fry until cooked.

Add egg, stir fry until warmed.

Splash soy sauce over the the contents of the frying pan.

Try this with shredded bbq chicken or leftover pork roast.
